Success (4): Albert Einstein’s Formulas for Success

Do you want to be successful in life? Here are some of Albert Einstein’s formulas for achieving outstanding string of successes:
(i)                 Use your imagination: In his own words, Albert Einstein states that “the true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” When you let your imagination runs wild, you are likely going to discover the better way of living your life.
(ii)               Educate yourself: To succeed at anything, you must brace yourself for a new set of learning. You cannot approach a new problem with the same old solution(s). So, Einstein says “You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”
(iii)             Listen to your heart: Explore the strength within you by listening to the still, small voice of God because it is advisable that you “never do anything against your conscience even if the state demands it.”
(iv)             Withstand criticism: You need to learn how to stand or take criticism without allowing it to break your spirit, because Einstein noticed that “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”

Transform yourself with these powerful thoughts!

Happiness (4): Why Some People Are Not Happy

Several theories about happiness have been proffered from time to time to explain why some people, no matter what, will always find it difficult to be happy. One of these theories attests that human happiness, on a daily basis, results from the actions we take and the things we regularly expose our minds to, consciously or unconsciously.
Please consider these four (4) happiness-destroying mindsets:-
(a)   Overt negativism:- People who are absolutely negative, who find no good thing in life, people or things around them, will always spend their entire existence on earth in perpetual sadness/unhappiness
(b)     Succumbing to Peer Pressure:- If you are the type of person who constantly succumbs to unnecessary or avoidable peer pressure simply because you want to satisfy your friends or companions, happiness will be an elusive experience for you
(c)    Absorbing bad advice:- Listening and acting on bad pieces of advice may rob you of continual happiness. Take for instance, when people encourage you to act against the laws and rules of the society you live in, you are surely going to lose your opportunity to live an enviable happy life

(d)   Lack of self-control:-A person who lacks the power to control what he or she hears, listens to, does or accepts may find himself or herself at the lowest rung of happiness, always at the beck and call of people who will use him or her against his/her own wish

Organizational Performance (4): Understanding the Processes of Having A Good Day At Work!

It is an undeniable fact that anyone who wants to have a great working experience must first of all examine himself or herself to discover some aspects of his or her lifestyle that have been making it difficult to derive maximum enjoyment from his or her job. You can never enjoy the job you are doing if you possess some counter-productive attitudes.
Here are examples of bad attitudes employers hate:
(i)                 Apparent loss of interest in the job:-Eh, if you demonstrate acute lack of interest in your job, it will be obvious to people around you, including your colleagues and bosses or superiors.  And you know what? They will by and large categorize you as an indolent, unprofessional worker!
(ii)               Rigid and  not teachable:-People become experts as they spend years on the same jobs or projects, learning  and re-learning until they reach near perfection and master all intricacies of their jobs. You probably won’t get peace of mind at work if you argue a lot with your superiors and refuse to humble yourself to learn how to carry out your assigned functions in a more organized and acceptable way.
(iii)             Not sticking to the rules:- No employer likes a willful and uncooperative worker.  The main purpose of establishing laws or rules and regulations at workplaces is to guarantee decorum and encourage peaceful co-existence among employees.

So, spend some time scrutinizing your work habit—are you really making your workplace comfortable for yourself?
