Success is measured by
different standards: in other words, people consider success in diverse
perspectives. But there are still some underlying misconceptions about success
which include but are not limited to the following assumptions:
(i)
Some
people believe that success is all about making money and creating wealth (this
may not be so)
(ii)
Others
think riding in an expensive car or living in a posh mansion indicates that
someone is successful (this is not true)
(iii)
People
think that holding a lofty political, social or business executive position
reveals that one is successful (the fact is that some people did hold such positions
in the past but are regarded as stupendous failures in life today)
(iv)
Others
think that success is only measured by your level of academic education (this
is not true; some people do not have education but they are still successful)
So, what is success?
Success is finding what excites
you, develop yourself doing it and enjoying life to the fullest. Of course, you
can amass wealth in the course of doing this, and you can also live in a posh
estate or ride the best car in town.
